Barnstaple Chess Club has served the town of Barnstaple and surrounding areas for over a hundred years. We have members of all strengths from beginner to International Master level and regularly compete in the Devon Chess Leagues and Cup competitions.

Come along in person to the Conservative Club, 13 Boutport Street, Barnstaple, on a Thursday evening from 7:30pm. Potential members are welcome to come and attend a couple of evenings to try the club before joining. We welcome players of all ages, however juniors need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
